To Do List

To Do:

- Learn how to accept compliments from people you look up to
- Stop feeling sorry for yourself
- Stop using defeatist language
- Stop trying to convince yourself that everyone you care about (who isn't a family member or a friend from childhood and therefore stuck with you) doesn't want to be around you
- Thank Abby for introducing you to fuckiminmy20s because it is the best blog ever and it's like she's reading your thoughts, reminding you that you're not the only one who feels like this. Done!
- Thank Abby for reminding you that you're not the only one who feels socially incompetent when around new people you want to make a good impression on/flirt with and who aren't weird and nerdy like you and your friends.
- Get better at remembering to eat breakfast
- Get better at getting out of bed and being productive in the morning
- Get better at being productive
- Stop eating out and actually cook food (When you do cook, stop living off of quesadillas and burritos)
- Drink more tea
- Meditate
- Try to find little moments to enjoy throughout your day
- Stop feeling so emotionally needy/sorry for yourself. Call your friends when you're lonely, especially the ones you don't get to see often enough.
- Invite Laura to come watch Dr Who more often
- Floss your teeth more regularly, even if you think you can get away with skipping it that one night. No one likes gingivitis.
- Stop being emotionally abusive to yourself.
- Stop procrastinating.
- Buy some flowers and put them EVERYWHERE.
- Start doing yoga again.
- Stop putting off dealing with intimidating things. Stop ignoring emails because you're afraid of what they might say. Stop putting off responding to emails/sending emails because you're afraid of how the person might reply.
- Text less and actually call people sometimes.
- Compliment other people more.
- Hug people more if they like hugs.
- Draw something or write something every day.
- Eat more green vegetables, carrots, radishes, and fruit. You'll feel happier.
- Stop feeling guilty about inconsequential things/things out of your control.
- Be a better friend.
- Live in the moment, stop obsessing about what happened in the past or what might happen in the future to the extent that you can't enjoy what's happening right now.
- Stop hoping that you'll run into your sort-of crush at a stoplight or in the grocery store or anything even more far-fetched and unlikely.
- Stop worrying about how other people perceive you.
- Stop trying to fill silences when hanging out with people in fear that if you don't come up with a conversation topic they'll leave you.
- Actually follow your to do lists
